Raising children in today’s day and age is hard enough – nevermind adding to it the stressors of multiple mental and physical health symptoms with no clear cause. It requires a whole new set of skills and abilities, many that don’t come naturally. I intimately understand the challenges of navigating difficult health issues in our children. I felt lost and helpless as my child's symptoms spiraled out of control, leaving basic functioning feeling like a distant dream.
Our journey began with an overwhelming array of symptoms, ranging from mood swings and anxiety to unexplained physical ailments. Despite numerous medical evaluations and testing, we received unsatisfactory answers and band-aid solutions.
It wasn't until I realized the profound impact of diet on my child's mental and physical well-being that improvements began. Through keeping a food journal and recording food eaten and symptoms up to 4 days later, combined with IgG food sensitivity testing, I discovered a clear link between certain foods and the intensity of symptoms.
Armed with this knowledge, I embarked on a transformative journey based on the diet of the Vital Mind Reset (VMR) protocol developed and used by Dr. Kelly Brogan and her mentor Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez in their psychiatric practices. My child's symptoms dissolved. Through training and certification under Dr. Brogan, I've honed my expertise in applying this evidence-based lifestyle medicine approach to support families like yours.

Eight years ago I left my 9-5 corporate job and became a full-time food detective. I learned as much as I could on the issue and applied it to my home and family. And the results are profound. During that time I became a leader of Holistic Moms Network (HMN) Boston Metro Chapter supporting mothers with their children's health.
